If you don’t know already Rachel is a singer songwriter & music producer from Weymouth in the UK.

She is 24 years old & if there is one thing Rachel can tell you about its got to be music.

Rachel started singing at the age of 14; she was in a local duo for about two years with a local entertainer (Ed Hintze) singing at local   venues around Weymouth town.

Once she had built her confidence she decided to go solo at the age of 16, where she took part in a number of shows & local events plus hosting her own sets.

Since then she has never looked back, now she is performing all over the UK playing on stage & in theatres, Festivals & Clubs.

If you browse through her website (time - line page) you will notice that she has played at many venues across the UK.

Ever since the age of 16 she studied at Weymouth College & has gained knowledge in many different areas of music.

2008 - Award for promoter 2008.
2007 - Saba Promoter of the year.
2006 – Awarded a commendation in Music Technology.
2005 - 2007 Bournemouth – FD in Art's - Music Technology - Merit
2003 - 2005 Weymouth College – B Tec in Music Technology OND Dist***

Rachel also owns and runs her own recording studio and also has her own label "Townie Productions" which is going really well at the moment.

Rachel had appeared on many TV shows including skyTV, ITV1 and has also featured of BBC South Radio, GWR Radio, Wessex FM and Hope FM.
When Rachel went solo at 16, she wanted to record a demo CD.
So she went to a local studio in Weymouth to do so.

The producer who was working for the studio at that time said
“Rachel is a great singer, who gets the job done quick and easy with no fuss.”

So then music Producer "Dave Hart" who has had   releases with Extravaganza recordings and has produced many commercial dance tracks and radio jingles, took Rachel on as an in house session singer.

Rachel was given the opportunity to be involved with lots of different projects for Dave.

As well as featuring   on his own tracks, Rachel was asked to sing jingles, help construct songs and sing for other producers / clients.

Now Rachel has her own studio suite “Townie Productions” which accommodates artistes and writers.

At the moment she is working with Soundcraft Studios, which is also based in Weymouth Soundcraft is also known as one of the best media studios in Dorset.

She has been working as a Session singer, Songwriter and Musical Composer for Sound craft who are known for specializing in music for film.

Kenneth Braithwaite said “Rachel is different from other singers, not only can she read music but also she has the ability to play and work out a song by ear, which is a natural gift.”
